This is the first part of my deep dive into the restoration and reconstruction of this rare classicall Martin C-1R Thomas Humphrey guitar. It was almost completely smashed and shattered, but that doesn't stop me!

Simple Guitar - Simple Repair
Here I got the simple but nice Lag Tramontan acoustic guitar. And the problem is that the nut is stripped and stuck in a not very convenient position. On top of that, the trussrod on this guitar is double action and because of that I just can't unscrew the nut and replace or repair it. The nut is inside a special casing that is welded to the rod, this is what makes the rod double acting. Theref...

Vintage Japan semihollow guitar transformation
This is my new project, in which I finally decided to completely repaint the guitar. I chose not the simplest shape of the body, and the overall condition left much to be desired. It's a Norma, an old Japanese guitar from around the 60s (from the Teisco, Kawai, etc. family). The color I chose was something I've been wanting to use for a long time and I think it turned out to be a great match wi...

The work that you are doing is so incredibly amazing and awesome and i am loving your channel so much
How can you hand over the guitar for repair in Ukraine?
She performs miracles.
You are so incredibly amazing and awesome and amazing at what you do and I am loving watching you do your work
❤
Wow That is a great works it was Useless and you put the Life back to It ...👋👋👋❤ BRAVO
The grain on the top is wonderful
very comforting to watch a pro restore a now beautiful instrument.
❤
Roll up your sleeves. 😄
😃😇💚🤍❤👍💯
Remarkable patience and tenacity. I think perhaps most people would have tried just to replace the whole top, but you've proved what a beautiful result you can get if you put your mind to it. Well done. Can't wait for part two.
That guitar took a good shellacking followed by some good shellacking. 😉
Your natural nails are beautiful.
Wow your amazing
What kind of magnets are those?
Imagine how much easier that would have been had you taken the entire top off. Likely glued with hide glue, so easy to do. Gluing dozens of pieces back together with PVA glue is going to be a recipe for disaster. It really needed a full soundboard replacement. You think it’s going to sound good or stay together for more than a week ?.
Transfixed! Your work here is just brilliant! Hope you’ll show the owners reaction when you’re done! Thank you
I wanna hear a finished strum!
Holy smokes that's a lot of work. Super impressive!
1:55 Anyone know what kind of wood that bridge is? Grain almost looks like oak, or maybe walnut?
Amazing
1. You're a stunningly brilliant Luther. 2. You're stunning. Period
I hope that the customer had deep pockets...
Willy's guitar?
i woulda chaulked this up as a loss and used it as an excuse to get a new guitar
These videos relax my anxiety. Which is extremely valuable to me, thank you
Hope Ted see this. I think he would appreciate the craftsmanship
Is this the one that was accidentally smashed on The hateful eight?
I'm from the Philippines. Great job on saving and preserving this beautiful guitar. More power and God bless you always.
i just fell in love
Tanya, I don't know if you're a genius or crazy, but that's a hell of a job you did there. If it were me I would have re-topped it. But clearly, you're not me :)
What is that semi-circular hand planer?
I haven't seen a rebuild from this level of destruction before, really incredible work. I'm watching thinking this can't be done and then it's done. I think anyone's guitar would be safe in your hands after watching this and all the other repair videos.
I would have a project for you if you lived in Canada. A mid 20's to early 30's Gibson. It was my Grandpa's guitar which he took overseas to the war.
Your work was beyond measure. Never thought something like that could be repaired, but im glad it got another chance. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
nah, martin luthier king innit
OMG!👏👏👏
Yikes! That poor thing was in awful shape! Great job getting it all back together. I have one not quite as bad, but will probably need just as many cleats. The sides are cracked too, I think it was literally left in a shack in a desert.
Came for the restoration…stayed for the nails. ✨
Enhorabuena.
Fantastic🎉
It needs some cool background music , truly amazing
Your work inspires me to tech again. I’m terrified to approach a regret on my 1987 Ibanez RG560 though.
You’d barely have to touch the string with those railroad ties 😂😂🤣🤣
I wouldn't have thought that to be possible! You can be very proud of yourself. I thought one have to be 60 or 70 to have that many skills and ideas for a job like this, but you are a young lady! My highest respect for your craftsmanship. I'm looking forward for part 2 !!! Thank you Tanya
Maybe she learned from family?
